Context
A Scandinavian airline was handling catering operations using manual processes to collect data from multiple providers.
This approach was slow, error-prone, and difficult to scale as order volumes grew — impacting efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to make timely operational decisions.

Approach
We developed a serverless application to automate the ingestion of catering data from various sources, ensuring the airline maintained full ownership and control of its information.
The solution used Azure Functions for automation, Azure Service Bus for real-time processing, and included automatic archiving and purging to optimize storage. Integration via APIs allowed seamless connection to other operational systems.
